At Angelina Haole, we are passionate about creating artisan-crafted gowns and wardrobes that truly reflect your personality and personal style. Our process is flexible and personalized to fit your needs and lifestyle.
Following is a general breakdown of how our process can work for you:
When you are ready to explore the possibilities, contact us to schedule a complimentary consultation. Consultations may in person or even over the phone.
Our goal during your consultation is two-fold; First and foremost, we want to answer all of your questions about what’s involved in creating a custom gown. This is your opportunity to gather information about us, our process and our working style.
During this appointment, we want to learn all we can about you and your event. This is where our designer can start to get a feel for who you are, what your style is like and what concerns or issues you may have about your custom made experience.
Some specifics discussed during the consultation:
– Price range and budget
– Event date and location
– Style and theme of event
– Thoughts about your vision, likes and dislikes
– Body specifics and what makes you unique
Our designer will also ask you to share any Pinterest boards or thoughts you have in relation to the event. Don’t worry if you don’t have a lot to share! We will discuss tools and resources that will help you provide us with input during the design process.
This is the fun part—when you get to see the designs that have been created just for you! During this appointment you will meet with your designer to review sketches. Once you are both are satisfied that you have settled upon the perfect, couture, just-for-you design, fabric options will be discussed and you will have your measurements taken.
Once we’ve made our selections, our meticulous construction process begins within our San Jose studio. The process that follows is unique to the garment—some gowns require multiple fittings while others require only one.
The most important thing to understand about this phase is that you will continue to be part of the process even after construction has begun. You will be asked for feedback during fittings to ensure your complete satisfaction with each element, as well checking to make sure the fit feels as good as it looks.
Once your gown is complete, it will be delivered with white glove service, including a final fitting.
